Mr. Kemp practices and takes on a number of cases in the areas of criminal law, family law, and landlord/tenant law, serving as a reputable Criminal law attorney in Washington. These cases are primarily in Clark County, but he also practices in Cowlitz County, Skamania County, Klickitat County, and the City of Battle Ground, Ridgefield, Camas, and Washougal. Admitted to the Tennessee State Bar in 2021, Mr. Kemp has practiced law in Tennessee for 2 years, gaining a lot of experience in various different fields of law. He was admitted recently to the Washington State Bar and now practices at our firm.

Before practicing law, Mr. Kemp had 5 years as a special education teacher, and as an assistant coach at Mt. Juliet High School in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. As a special education teacher, Mr. Kemp taught students ages 14-22 with learning disabilities. He tailored the classroom activities to each of the students’ needs and abilities, along training and supervising teacher assistants. His role as an Assistant Boys Varsity Basketball Coach was done in tandem with his job as a special education teacher. He maintained and developed the athletic abilities of the varsity basketball team by developing and implementing workout and conditioning routines. He also managed summer basketball camps for 100+ youth. Mr. Kemp started to delve into the area of law in May of 2018, being motivated with the desire to help and make a difference in people’s lives.  He started to work for different firms in drafting motions, pleadings, order, and conducting legal research. He also attended numerous hearings, trials, and other various proceedings that grew his experience and understanding of the different areas of law.

He is an experienced attorney with a diverse background in various legal fields. One of his areas of expertise is family law, where he has represented clients in a wide range of matters such as divorces, custody disputes, parenting time, and child support issues. He has also handled cases involving landlord/tenant disputes, representing landlords in eviction hearings and lease conflicts. In addition, he has a thorough understanding of Protection Orders, having represented both petitioners and respondents in such hearings.
